A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 14, 2005 at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD, 20659, with Father Peter Alliata officiating. Interment to follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
Visitation:
Viewing and Visitation will be Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 2 PM till 5 PM with a Prayer service at 3PM followed by Fire Department Prayers at 3:10 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, 41590 Fenwick Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
Paul Carroll Lacey, 47, of Mechanicsville, MD died November 8, 2005 in Mechanicsville, MD. Born July 16, 1958 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of Barbara "Jean" Owen Lacey of Leonardtown, MD and the late Paul B. "Sonny" Lacey. He was the loving husband of A. Diane Guy Lacey whom he married in Immaculate Conception Church, Mechanicsville, MD on November 20, 1982. He is survived by his children: Sherry Renee Lacey and Richard Alan Lacey both of Mechanicsville, MD and his sister: Margaret "Annette" Pilkerton of Callaway, MD. Mr. Lacey was a life long St. Mary's County resident where he graduated of Chopticon High School, Class of 1977. He was employed for seventeen years at NAS Patuxent River as a Lead Firefighter. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 2:00 â?? 5:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 3:00 PM with Fire Department Prayers being said at 3:10 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Peter Alliata officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ricky Lacey, Chris Lawyer, Donnie Pilkerton, Timmy Abell, Eddie Voorharr, and Bobby Guy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department, NAS Patuxent River Fire Department, and Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
