Peter Willy "Pete" Ochterbeck

Peter Willy Ochterbeck, “Pete”, 70, of Great Mills, MD, passed away on January 3, 2023, in Largo, MD. Peter was born on March 18, 1952 in Ostheim Vor Der Rhon, Germany to Irmgard Lina Ochterbeck and the late Robert West Ochterbeck. In addition to his mother, Pete is survived by his daughter, Ashley Lynn Connely, of Great Mills, MD, his sister, Ingrid Limerick, of Upper Marlboro, MD, and two grandchildren. Peter graduated from Prince Frederick High School in 1971 and worked as an inspector for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) for 25 years before his retirement. Some of Pete’s favorite things in life were being outdoors, whether it was fishing, camping, or riding out on the open road with his motorcycle. He was loved immensely by his family and will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends on Thursday July, 20, 2023 in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, where a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 PM with Pastor Bill officiating.
