Richard Furman Hutson, Jr., “Richie”, 57, of Avenue, MD, passed away on November 11, 2023 in LaPlata, MD. Born on July 28, 1966 in Silver Spring, MD. He was the son of Nancy J. Hutson and the late Richard F. Hutson, Sr. Richie is survived by his daughter, Julie Anna Hutson, of Dundalk, MD, his brother, Richard Michael “Mike” Hutson, Sister-in-law, Sharyn Hutson, Niece, Jennah Latham (Frankie), and Nephew, Jared Hutson, of Avenue, MD.
Richie was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident and graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1984. He was an Electrical Contractor for various companies from 1984 to 2020, and also worked on government contracts for more than ten years.
In lieu of flowers and cards, please consider making a memorial contribution to Hospice of Charles County, MD or to St. Clements Hundred, P.O. Box 71, Colton’s Point, MD 20626.
All services will be private.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jared Hutson, Frankie Latham, Sam Smith III, Andrew Snell, Ricky Guy, and Jay Quade.

To my loving daughter Julie Hutson. Your father (Richie).gave me the best gift of all and that was you. I know that your father loved you very much. I am sorry that you have to go through this loss of him. But know that you won’t have to do it alone . I love you very much ! I remember the day your father bought Tilly your horse for you in which you still have her 6 years later. Also he would be proud knowing you stepped up and rescued his Rotti Dagan.
