Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Morganza, MD with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Morganza, MD. Robert “Robbie” Allan Williams, Sr., 47, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on February 8, 2015 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on October 18, 1967 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Linda Yates Williams, and the late Raymond C. Williams. Robbie is survived by his wife Sharon Wathen Williams, whom he married in Winchester, VA on February 3, 2012. Robbie is survived by his children; Robert A. Williams, Jr., of Hagerstown, MD, Lindsey N. Williams of Jessup, MD, Allison B. Williams of Mechanicsville, MD, Kyle E. Fink of Leonardtown, MD, 3 grandchildren; Robert Allan, III, Caleb Dylan, and Donovan Allan. Brothers; Roy A. Williams, (Dawn) and Ronald A. Williams (Karen) both of Loveville, MD. He was a liflong St. Mary’s County, MD resident, and graduated from Chopticon High School in 1985. Robbie was a carpet installer, and carpenter. He grew up working with his father, brothers, uncles, and cousins on the farm. He mastered many trades throughout his years but his favorite was carpentry. In his younger years he was an avid hardball player, and than proceeded to the St. Mary’s Young Men’s Softball League. Robbie was also a part of the Southern Maryland Dart League for several years. He loved his family, Harley Davidson motorcycles, hunting, and life. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Morganza, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will be private. Pallbearers will be; Troy Alvey, Timothy Brown, Jeff Frerichs, and Chris Williams. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
