Services: A Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary's Parish Chapel in Ridge, MD on Friday, June 25th at 4:00 PM with Fr. John Ball officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation: Public Viewing/Visitation will be held on Friday at St. Mary's Parish Chapel in Ridge, MD on Friday, June 25th from 2 - 4 PM. Ronald J. "Ron" Bednarik, 37, of Chaptico, MD and formerly of District Heights, MD, died June 21, 2004 in Chaptico, MD. Born December 12, 1966 in Washington, DC, to Elizabeth Ann and Russell Joseph Bednarik. He was the devoted brother of Rusty Bednarik and his wife Debbie of Lusby, MD and Linda Irvin and her husband Joe of Mechanicsville, MD. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Katie, Andi, RJ and Danielle. He was the great uncle of Harley Jordan. Mr. Bednarik graduated from Suitland Senior High School in 1984 and attended the College of Southern Maryland. He was a Substance Abuse Counselor. The family will receive friends Friday, June 25, 2004 from 2 â?? 4PM with services at 4PM at St. Mary's Parish Chapel in Ridge, MD, with Father John Ball officiating. Interment will be Private.
