Services: A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 28, 2005 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dale Skurla officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Visitation: Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, February 27, 2005 from 2 - 5 PM with prayers being said at 3:00 PM. Roy Mitchell "Mike" Stasch, Sr., 57, of Mechanicsville, MD died February 24, 2005 in Washington, DC. Born April 12, 1947 he was the son of Mary Alice Hill Stasch of Mechanicsville, MD and the late August Henry Stasch. He was the loving and caring husband of Karen Janette Stasch. He is survived by his children: Cathy Guy and her husband J.R., Joyce Seekford and her husband David, Mike Stasch,Jr. and his wife Missy all of Mechanicsville, MD, Jennifer Gerakaris and her husband Kos and William Brinson and his wife Susan all of New York; grandchildren: Samantha and Hannah Guy, Sarah, Allison and Zachary Seekford, Rachael Stasch, Victoria and Steven Repasi, Niki, Katherine and Niko Gerakaris; sisters: Brenda Raley of Mechanicsville, MD and Alice Tiede of Nevada and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Stasch was a lifelong St. Mary's County resident. He worked for Reliable Contracting (formerly Raye Vest Corpration) in White Plains, MD. He was a member of the Southern Maryland Antique Tractor Power Associtation and the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge. His passions were tractor pulling and restoration projects. He also enjoyed crabbing and fishing. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and friend to everyone. He will be deeply missed by all! The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27 from 2 â?? 5 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with prayers being said at 3 PM. Pallbearers will be J.R. Guy, David Seekford, William Brinson, Kos Gerakaris, Jay Raley and Charles "Skinny" Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul "Junie" Stasch and Charles "Chuckie" Anderson.
