  4. To Christina,
I did not have the opportunity to meet your father but I am sure that he poured unconditional love into you. I’m sure that you returned the favor. Losing a love one is not an easy task, and if we could we would opt to keep them here for ever. Please cherish the memories you shared and the good times spent. No one can take those away from you. My condolences go out to you and your family during this difficult time. You won’t forget him so hold those memories close. Sincerely Mr. Brooks….

  5. There will always be a place in my heart that belongs to Sal. My sons and I will carry his memory with us for the rest of our lives – in stories we tell, the memories we hold close, and the moments that make us think of him and wish he were still here. Saying goodbye to someone who meant this much feels impossible, so instead I will simply say: until we meet again, We love you and, we will miss you more than words could ever say, and we will carry you in our hearts forever.

  6. It’s really hard to put into words the impact Sal had in my life. I will miss him very much. Prayers going out to all the family. God Bless.

  7. Sending your family prayers of comfort during this difficult time. I worked with Sal years ago, and he would often tell a little story or sing a melody to lighten the mood. When he retired, we filled the O’Club with his friends, who roasted him with stories and songs. It was wonderful to see him laugh and enjoy every moment. Heaven gained a beautiful soul. May he rest in eternal peace.

  8. I never met Sal in person but as one of his insurance agents, I thoroughly enjoyed every phone call we shared. I enjoyed listening to the stories he would tell me and also the one he would email to me. He really had an impact on me. He would always tell me that family is the most important part of life. I will miss him, his phone calls and all his stories. Sending prayers to his entire family.

  9. Linda and family,
So sorry for your loss. It is a terrible thing to go through.
Just remember all the good times. Your children and family will see you throgh..
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  10. I worked at Pax with Sal from 1968 until he retired. Will always remember the fun we had at work, the canoe trips to Gooney Creek, the parties after work, “no laughing during working hours!”, and so much more. Sal was a hell of a good man. Rest in peace my friend.

  11. My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Pastachio and his lovely wife. In the very short time that I got to know him he touched my heart. He was a very kind man. I loved his stories. I told him that he reminded me so much of my own father. He will be greatly missed

  12. I met Sammy in 1966 at Pax. We worked together for about 3 years before I went on active duty in the Navy. I was a submariner and he never let me forget it. If I was having a bad day, I could always count on Sammy to brighten it. RIP shipmate.
