A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 10AM in St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Ray Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation:
Viewing and Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2006 from 5PM till 8PM with prayers being said at 7PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel.
Shawn Christopher "Sexy Beast 02" Hoflich, 23, of California, MD formerly of Hollywood, MD died January 29, 2006 in California, MD. Born June 2, 1982 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of Michael Wayne and Sandra Marie Joy Hoflich of Hollywood, MD. He was the loving husband of Alisha Starr Hoflich whom he married of May 7, 2005 in Leonardtown, MD. He is survived by his brothers: Michael H. Hoflich of Alexandria, VA, Andrew L. Hoflich and Daniel S. Hoflich both of Hollywood, MD. Mr. Hoflich was a life long St. Mary's County resident where he graduated of Leonardtown High School Class of 2000. He worked for 4 years as a concrete technician for Chaney Enterprise. He enjoyed cars, music, football "Dallas Cowboys", amusement parks, spending time with family and friends, drawing pets, grilling, taking care of rambo, video games, electronics, going for rides, playing basketball and playing pool; Shawn's motto "Live Strong Die Proud" The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 from 5:00 â?? 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, with Prayers being said at 7:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Michael H. Hoflich, Kevin A. Howell, Mark A. Stone, Chuck Z. Latham, Jimmy L. Cooper, Jr. and James C. Robey. Honorary Pallbearer will be Michael H. Hoflich.. Any food contributions may be brought to the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department on the morning of Thursday, February 2, 2006.Contributions may be made to N.C.I., Bldg. 31, 11 A 16, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20892; memo line should read "for Ewings Sarcoma research in POB.
