“Sorry to hear of Stevie’s passing. He was such a well liked man. Always smiling and always seemed so happy. “
“He was a brother to me. Anyone Steve met was always better off than before they met him. His middle initial stands for “Guy” but just as well stood for “generous”. He was truly as giving person and always brought people together. Our plans were too soon cut short but I’m sure he now has a place on a creek in heaven where the fish are big and the crabs are fat. I truly miss him already but am happy for the time we had him. May God Bless You “
“So sorry for your loss Steve and I went to school together who knew the Lord would call him home so soon Peace to all God Bless “
“Been a long time; sorry to loose another good guy.”
“TO STEVE’S FAMILY, WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR THE PASSING OF OUR OLD FRIEND. WE WILL REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES AT PENNIE’S ON THE WEEKENDS AND HIS VISITS TO SEE US IN HYATTSVILLE DOING THE WEEK. THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY. GOD BLESS!!!”

“Stevie D., Jessica and family, Chris and I wanted to tell you how sorry we are to hear of your Dad’s passing. Another life taken again at a young age in my group of first cousins when there was so much life to live. There was never a moment when I would see him, especially growing up, that he wasn’t smiling or laughing about something. He had that joking personality like his Dad (Uncle Stephen). Keep those moments close to your heart and remember the good times for it is through those memories that you will find comfort in each day. May the Good Lord give you the grace to find peace and comfort during this difficult time. “
“To Steves’ family, we send our regrets. He was a great and fun loving guy. Our prayers are with you “
“To Cindy and Steve’s Family it is with such sadness that I offer my condolences in your loss, I will have fond memories of time spent with Steve and was so grateful that he came into my friends life when she needed someone kind and thoughtful, I was never with them that they did not appear so very happy and perfect for each other. He was indeed a “Jack of all Trades”.”

He was a wonderful and life-long friend and he will be forever missed. May you find love and comfort in each other, your family and friends. In your hearts may you all find the strength to help you through these terribly difficult days. Your heart is where he will always be found. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.”
“To the family of Stephen Guy Vallandingham As you all know I truly admired you father, tremendously. Through the years we have had some very good life conversations. We did not see each other often but when we did it was hard for either of us to walk away. Simply put I LOVED YOUR DAD. Just wanted to let you all know what he meant to us. I know what he meant to you guys. We spoke of it often. I want to share with you all some of the things your father taught me through our conversations through the years. During the basketball years we talked about how sometimes in life you make the right decisions and sometimes you make the decisions right. During our last conversation we talked about how it’s tough to be the man God deemed you to be, the husband they want you to be and the father you have to be, you all were his priority. My heart is saddened for your family. We have lost a good one but you all have lost a GREAT one. I’m going to miss my buddy, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.”
“Steven, Our deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. If there is anything we can do for you please don’t hesitate to give me a call. Remember your brothers are just a phone call away.”
