Services:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. John's Catholic Church, Hollywood, MD with Fr. Raymond Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 6, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home where prayers will be said at 7:00 PM.
Stephen “Steve” Danielowich, 61, of Hollywood, MD and formerly of River Head, Long Island, died October 2, 2008 at Prince George’s Hospital. Born November 8, 1946 in Green Port, Long Island, he was the son of the late Stanley Lewis and Rose Helen Danielowich. He was the loving husband of Ann Marie Danielowich whom he married on April 13, 1975 in St. John’s Church, Hollywood, MD. He is also survived by his brother Stanley Danielowich of Clearwater, FL. He was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Danielowich. He was a Senior Engineer for Eagle Systems and was enlisted in the U.S. Navy from Oct. 1, 1964 – Nov. 7, 1967. While in the Navy, he was stationed at Cecil Field, FL and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He also belonged to the Knights of Columbus. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 6, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, Leonardtown, MD where prayers will be held at 7:00 PM with Knights of Columbus Prayers at 7:15 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. John’s Catholic Church, Hollywood, MD with Fr. Raymond Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Hazel, Scott Smith, John Francis Smith, Jimmer Gardiner, Rob Martin and Jay Johnson. Contributions may be made to St. John’s Building Fund, 43927 St. John’s Road, Hollywood, MD 20636.
