Robin and Kevin. I’m so sorry for your loss. He was a cutie pie when he was young. My prayers have been with you and the family. I have a son named Steven and me and aunt Phillis would compare notes on them. Sorry for the struggle and pain. Love to you all.
Your cousin, Patti Sue (Lobdell) Luce
Steve, I cherish all the times I was lucky enough to spend with you. Larry
You weren’t much older than Amanda, we found pictures of me holding you and I was married and you were a baby. But time went by and I saw you as a talented, funny man. I’ll never forget some practical jokes, especially the scorpion on my shoulder….I didn’t know you took off the stinger! BRAT! But you had a kind soul and would give anyone the shirt off your back, a heart of gold. You will be missed and never forgotten my cousin. Love you, Karen
Steve, Now you know why I spent all summer preaching Jesus at you! 🙂 I know where you’re at and I know without a doubt that I’ll see you again. In fact I have incredible peace because now you’re safe and sound, happy, and out of pain. I know you’ll be the first one I’ll see when it’s my time to cross over. See you soon little brother. Love you.
My deepest condolences to Steve’s family. I will miss him, think of him often and always remember his smile. Totally heartbroken. May God wrap you all in his arms and comfort you through this.
My deepest condolences to your family. Thoughts and healing lights to all of you as you go through this time of healing.
To Steve:
As you leave this place
may the Living Lord go with you.
May he go behind you, to encourage you,
beside you, to befriend you,
above you, to watch over you,
beneath you, to lift you from your sorrows,
within you, to give you the gifts of faith, hope, and love,
and always before you, to show you the way.
Steve,
My heart aches knowing your struggles the past few years but, I find so much joy knowing where you are and knowing we will see each other again. God is good.
I am a better person for knowing you and I have many wonderful memories forever tucked in my heart. Because of you I became friends with your whole family and will be forever known as “Poodle”? You were loved and will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
I would like to pass on my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the Poole Family. I was very saddened by the news when I received it last night and have only but great memories of all the times Steve and I spent together over our lifetime. He was a warm, generous and wonderful person that lit up a room when he entered it. His smile was infectious and could always smooth over any situation. He will be terribly missed by so many.
May he rest in peace.
Steve,
You were one of a kind. I am so saddened and shocked to hear of your passing. I will forever remember the good times and memories we all had. May you Rest in Peace. Until we meet again.
There is a great emptiness left by Steven’s passing, but I am certain that the strength of the love that the family share for each other and for Steven will help to get all of you through this difficult time. Your love will honor Stevens memory and cherish the time you all had together.
I’m sad I only had the opportunity to know my brother for only a short time. Though we were kept apart physically the emotional bond in my heart was always strong for Steven and each one in my birth family.
May God Bless Each Of You and grant you Love and Strength through this difficult time. Peace Be With You All.
Love
Ronnie Baker
We are so sorry to have to say goodbye. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Steve’s family and friends. As classmates, we had a friendship that we personally cherished. Steve was such a great man, and always made a smile on your face mandatory. These past 7 years we were able to reconnect with Steve. We will always hold a special place in our hearts for the wonderful memories that we were able to share with Steve. May he always rest in the peace that surpasses all understanding 🙏
Kevin and Robin, So very sorry for your loss. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. We were very fond of Steven and he was always polite and friendly to us. I know that he is now in the loving arms of the Lord and will no longer suffer. Both of you were great to him. There are some struggles that only the Lord can handle. Take comfort in knowing that he is safe and being loved by the Good Father.
Steve was had such a great way with people, there is so much to say, but the one thing, that is etched in my mind is the evening Steve came over and drew the tropical scene palm trees and all on the driveway in sidewalk chalk, he was so talented it was a super drawing. Rest in Peace my friend.
I am heartbroken to know that we have lost yet another young man from our generation of Poole cousins. Steve, I have some great memories of summers in the Keys. You had such a warm, kind heart and always made me smile. I know you had a long hard struggle and now you are at peace. God bless the rest of our family.
Steve…You were my very first friend I met when I moved to St. Mary’s County in the summer of 1980. That day will be etched in my mind forever….remembering exactly what you looked like and what we did on that very first day we became friends! My sister and I were having a picnic and invited you over to sit with us. We giggled at how quiet you were when we asked you all kinds of silly questions…boy that didn’t last long!! Soon we were like brother and sister…being loud…running around the farm…building forts…getting into trouble! Those were good days my friend! Then time passed and we saw less and less of each other…different roads…different paths….such is life. I want you to know that I had such a great time with you in the Keys a few years ago! Ed did too! To spend time with you & your mom was just like old times…brought back such good memories! I will truly miss you my friend! I know you are at peace and sending warmth & love down to all of us!! Forever in my heart Steve! Rest in Peace.
