Thaddeus John Jaje
September 24, 1942 ~ March 23, 2026
Thaddeus John Jaje, born on September 24, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away on March 23, 2026, in Saint Inigoes, MD. He was a devoted father, a cherished friend, and a beloved member of his community.
Thaddeus received his bachelor’s degree from American University and built a successful career as a computer data analyst with Unisys (Sperry-Univac) where he worked diligently as a contractor for over 30 years before retiring in 2010. His passion for technology and problem-solving was evident in both his professional life and personal interests, and his contributions in the field left a lasting impact on those around him.
On February 8, 1975, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Landover Hills, MD, Thaddeus married the late Joan Jaje, and whom preceded him in death on September 29, 2013. Together, they created a home and shared countless memories. Thaddeus was a proud father to his son and stepchildren who will carry on his legacy with love and devotion. Thaddeus is survived by his son Matthew Jaje and wife Jennifer of Wilmington, DE, his stepdaughter Deborah Clark and husband Joseph of Queen Anne, MD, and his stepdaughter Donna Burriss and husband Thomas of AL. He was preceded in death by his brother Stanley Jaje, stepson Darby McNeill, and stepdaughter Dorrine McNeill.
A Graveside Service will be held in his honor at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery in Lexington Park, MD, on March 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Pallbearers will be Matt Jaje, Simon Jaje, Elliot Jaje, and Rick Cox. Family and friends are invited to gather to pay their respects and to celebrate the life of Thaddeus John Jaje, whose spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he loved.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local charity in Thaddeus's name, a fitting tribute to a man who always believed in giving back. Thaddeus will be laid to rest, but his memory will live on in the stories we share and the love we carry in our hearts.

Cousin Matt, Jennifer and family,
Oh behalf of the extended Jaje Family we, (John, Mike, Chrissie and Terri) wanted to express our deepest condolences to you all. We know you are grieving and we feel the loss along side you. For those who do not know, our parents were siblings. Stan spoke highly of his brother Ted. Though we were hundreds of miles apart, unfortunately life kept each of us from knowing each other, other than keeping Uncle Ted apprised of life in Florida or Raleigh NC. Hoping there is comfort in knowing that you are in our thoughts and heartfelt prayers. May you find peace, strength and comfort in the days, weeks and months to come. Matt, thank you for taking care of your father in his last days. May Uncle Ted walk the streets of gold with Nana, Papa, Stan, Mary, and now holding hands with his beloved wife Joan. Sending Hugs from Afar. – Chrissie
