A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday February 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery Helen, MD.

Thomas Allen “Rose” Cusic, 80, of Helen, MD, passed away on January 29, 2015 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on February 8, 1934 in Oraville, MD, he was the son of the late Annie Gertrude Cusic and Thomas Wilmer Cusic. Thomas is survived by his siblings; Frances Cecelia Wood of Leonardtown, MD., Joseph Wilmer Cusic (Mary) of Mechanicsville, MD, William Franklin Cusic, Samuel Aloysius Cusic and Dorothy Jean Wathen all of Helen, MD. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Thomas Bernard Cusic, and Shirley Theresa Cusic. He graduated from Margaret Brent High School, and was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident. Thomas worked as a plumber for Hughesville Lumber Yard, Hilary Copsey, and C & C Plumbing.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery Helen, MD.
