Services: Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. Visitation: Monday, May 9, 2005 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM with Prayers at 7:00 PM officiated by Deacon Bill Nickerson. Troy Daryl Mattingly, 38, of Lexington Park, MD died May 3, 2005 in Leonardtown, MD. Born September 3, 1966, he was the son of Robert Allen and Sharon Lee Nordstrom Mattingly. He was the loving husband of Terri Lynn Mattingly, whom he married on April 13, 1991 in Lexington Park, MD. He is survived by his son, Tyler Brett Mattingly of Lexington Park, MD. He is also survived by his siblings, Kristine Mattingly of Dameron, MD; Dale Mattingly of Lexington Park, MD; Terry Mattingly of Texas; and, Brenda Bauer and Ricky Mattingly both of Leonardtown, MD. Mr. Mattingly was a graduate of Leonardtown High School, Class of 1985. He was employed by C-Cubed, Inc. of Lexington Park, MD until he became disabled in 2000. He was an avid softball player and also loved to play golf. The family received friends on May 9, 2005 in the Mattingly-Gardiner Funeral Home. A Funeral Service was held in the Funeral Home Chapel on May 10, 2005 with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Great Mills, MD. Pallbearers for Mr. Mattingly were Danny Aud, Joey Kidwell, Dale Mattingly, Jr., Raymond Williams, Rob Thiebeault and Rob Rock. Honorary pallbearers were Dale Mattingly, Sr., Ricky Mattingly, Terry Mattingly, Greg Bauer, Robert Herbert and Jack Miller. Contributions may be made to the Educational Fund for Tyler Mattingly, c/o Mercantile Bank of Southern Maryland. Arrangements provided by Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
