  13. Birgit Kueppers (formerly Bradley) says:

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Wince’s passing just now. I was his neighbor across the street from 2010 to 2019 and I felt that Mr. Wince adopted me. I moved to the U.S. from Germany and he became my American grandfather (I never told him). He always checked in on me and was the most gentle caring neighbor when my husband passed away. We shared stories about oversees and he told me about his service time and his children and wife. He taught me about growing kale and gave me seeds to keep in the freezer for the next year. He even shared stems of his over 50 year old grapevine. I moved to Virginia Beach in June 2019 but I kept talking to my sons Caelick and Nolin about Mr. Wince. I truly miss his presence in my life. What a wonderful man. He will forever be in our hearts.
