  1. Carol Ann & Satch Hall says:

A finer man than Eddie Bailey would be hard to fine. He loved his family first and then the community and helped so many people, churches and organizations. He had a personality like no other and never met a stranger. How proud I (Carol Ann)am to have had him as an uncle. He leaves behind a loving family who gave him the best of care during his illness. He was so very proud of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and loved his siblings and their families. So many will miss him. Rest in peace Eddie.

  2. Mike and Millie Huseman says:

He was “one of the Seventh District’s finest gentleman” and his friendship was a treasure to us and so many. May God bless him now for all his kindness and may you all find comfort in knowing he touched so many lives and is now resting in peace with Patsy again. ❤️
Be assured of our love and prayers.

  3. Clancy and Tami den Hartog says:

    To the entire Bailey Family,
Our sincere condolences to all and prayers of blessing for Eddie and all of you. Eddie was such a great man . He honored his country county and family through his actions and kindnesses his entire life. He was one who never met a stranger…My first thought upon hearing of his passing was the Irish wish of being in heaven before the devil knew you died. And I will drink that toast to him later…and the other thought was I ate more of his meals as an adult over the years than I ate at my mother’s table and sorry but Eddie had her beat in the fried chicken / fried oyster category and I loved his country green beans… such a great man
    May God bless all

  25. A true public servant who was totally devoted to this County has left us. Few ever rise to the level of loving his community and being loved by his community as this man. He will be sorely missed as a friend to so many, not just from St. Mary’s County, but across this State and beyond. He was a true inspiration to so many of us in his role as a community leader, businessman, husband to Patsy, and father to Bill, Donna and Jacqueline.
Eddie will be welcomed in heaven, not for being a Saint, but for living such a full life and showing us all how to be kind to everyone he met and doing so much for others.

  26. Ted & Mary Beth Downs says:
