A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery Leoanrdtown, MD with Fr. David Beaubien officiating.
William Norman “Uncle Norman” Elliott, Jr., 70, of California, MD, formerly of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on August 17, 2014 in Callaway, MD. William was born on June 27, 1944 in Leonardtown, MD; he was the son of the late Mary Adele Morgan and William Norman Elliott, Sr. William is survived by his loving wife Margaret Charlene Clements Elliott, whom he married on May 31, 1969 in Holy Face Catholic Church Great Mills, MD; they were married for 45 years. William is survived by his son; Shaun Alen Elliott (Lauren) of California, MD, 2 grandchildren Jacob Elliott and Jenna Elliott, and Aunt/Foster mother Madeline Morgan of Mechanicsville, MD whom he loved dearly. Siblings; Mary Ann Murphy of Mechanicsville, MD, and Geneva Harrison of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Mary Cook and Nita Reist. He was a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, MD and worked as a painter/decorator for The Architect of the Capitol in Washington, DC for 26 years retiring on October 1, 2006. William enjoyed driving big-rigs for Ronald Buckler Trucking Company, fishing, crabbing, hunting, and cutting grass with his John Deere tractor.

Pallbearers will be; Tony Clements, and Ralph Morgan. Honorary Pallbearers; Charles Williams, Ricky Williams, Tommy Williams, David Williams, Bobby Williams, Billy Williams, Paul Williams, Eddie Shumaker, and Wayne Morgan.
