Zora Mae White

Zora Mae White, 89, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on September 19, 2019 in Leonardtown, MD. She was born on January 4, 1930 in Kemble, IN and was the loving daughter of the late Zella V. Hallard and Ronald C. Weller. Zora was the loving wife of the late Paul Wayne White who preceded her in death on December 8, 1978. Zora is survived by her children Karen L. Kennedy of California, MD, Debbie Thompson of Mechanicsville, MD, 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children Linda Lee Harbeson, Paul C. White, siblings William Weller, Fred Weller, and Margaret Weller. Zora moved from Prince Georges County, MD to St. Mary’s County, MD in 1964. She was a hairdresser and salon owner of Zora’s Beauty Lounge in Esperanza Shopping Center. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 2:30 Pm to 3:30 Pm in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD where a Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 PM with Kelly Alderson Raley officiating. Interment will be private. Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Thompson, Matthew Thompson, and Troy Ferguson. .
