Obituary for
Marvin Aloysius Fenwick
Marvin Aloysius Fenwick, 56, of Lexington Park, Maryland, passed away at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC, on August 8, 2023.
He was born on August 15, 1966, to the late George Emerick and Queenie Elizabeth (Carter) Fenwick. He was the second child of four children. He received his education from the St. Mary’s County Public School System, graduating from Great Mills High School in 1984. He worked at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant as a construction worker and Driggs Asphalt Paving Company and provided sealcoating services for various companies until his health started to decline.
Marvin had a heart of gold and a contagious smile that would light up the room. His caring and generous heart and sociable personality won hearts and respect and touched the lives of many who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed and provide a place to stay if needed. Marvin loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed listening to go-go music and watching sports, but his favorite sport was NFL football so that he could entertain the fellas on Sundays with food and drinks, "a true die-hard Washington Commanders/Redskins fan." Marvin did not have any biological children, but he had his six bonus daughters, whom he raised as his own, and his bonus grandchildren.
